Gather for Gratitude 2024
On April 25, 2024, Goodwill Northern Michigan hosted 130 board members, donors, elected officials, volunteers, nonprofit leaders, and supporters who are working hard to make a positive change in Northern Michigan. We wish our entire team of 250 could have joined the standing-room-only crowd!
We want you to have first access to the video of last week’s Gather for Gratitude 2024 and also photos of the event, so you can see and hear it all.
Dan shared his gratitude to every Goodwill team member — we each play a unique role in bringing food to neighbors and helping people find home. Whether we work in donated goods/ecommerce, recycling, Food Rescue, housing and homeless services, maintenance, IT, or in the Good Meals kitchen — every team member in every department is vital to our work.
We all came away with a strong and emotional sense of just how critical it is to the community that Goodwill Northern Michigan continues to serve our most vulnerable neighbors with our homeless, housing, and food programs that are fueled by the work of the rest of the organization.
Gather for Gratitude builds on a long tradition of Gather for Good lunch events that brought together the Goodwill community and recognized important stakeholders. The pandemic put a pause on events, and this year we’re grateful to resume an annual gathering built on the past and directed to our future.
We are deeply grateful for your work that makes it possible for us to bring food to neighbors and help people find home!
