Goodwill Northern Michigan would like to share our response to the COVID-19 virus that is affecting communities worldwide. We are strongly committed to the health and safety of our donors, customers, employees, volunteers and program participants. Our focus is on continuing to support the vulnerable community members our programs serve at the Goodwill Inn, Food Rescue and through Street Outreach.
At this point, all area stores are closed effective March 23rd in accordance with the order by Governor Whitmer.
Donations and purchases funded crucial community programs their loss will be felt. Goodwill Inn is still open and operating and we are taking great precautions for the safety of the guests with frequent deep cleaning, changing meal times and spreading people out as much as possible. Our Street Outreach team is visiting unsheltered people to help them stay safe.
We are striving to stay on top of this quickly-evolving situation and will continue to communicate as conditions change. You will find the latest Grand Traverse County Community Update here.
Thank you for your support of the work we do at Goodwill Northern Michigan.
