Shopping & Donating
Goodwill Industries of Northern Michigan Inc. operates 4 retail stores in Traverse City, Cadillac, Gaylord, Petoskey and shopgoodwill.com which is as close as your computer.
The Goodwill thrift stores and production department also serve as training and service locations for a variety of Workforce Development programs. Our voucher program in partnership with other local agencies assists in providing persons with needed essential merchandise.
While the Goodwill stores are the most visible aspect of Goodwill, they are really only a means to an end. Better put, the Goodwill stores are the means to the beginning, the beginning of independence.
59% of the agency funding for vocational, homeless, housing, workforce development and transportation programs are provided from the sales of gently used merchandise.
